The Dakota Sioux Casino off Watertown in South Dakota was the scene of an alleged $10,000 theft on New Year’s Eve way back in 2015.
Based on the investigation of federal authorities, involved in the felony are four individuals, two of which are blackjack dealers in the casino, their pit boss, and a casino client. Charged with theft and conspiracy are Fern Gil (52 years old), Lito Bolocon (44 years old), Jeremy Brown (29 years old), and Jordan Rondell.
Rondell was a frequent guest at the said casino. Authorities confirmed that Rondell frequented the blackjack table and on one occasion allegedly received $10,000 illegal winnings from Gill and Brown, with the consent of the pit boss named Bolocon.
The four were charged but pleaded not guilty. If the court delivers a guilty verdict, the four may face a maximum jail time of 25 years.
