There are countless stories from players about the exhilarating world of blackjack. Stories about card counting and various blackjack strategies. Various tips and tactics on how to win in blackjack are dispensed left and right by blackjack aficionados but more often than not, they just do not work. What works then?
Winning in Blackjack
The most powerful tool for any blackjack player is basic strategy. Other tricks and techniques just don’t work as effectively. What is important is for a player to take the time and effort to hone his skills in playing blackjack. One can master basic and advanced blackjack strategies and even card counting techniques but it is next to impossible to win in blackjack at all times. Why?
Blackjack is a game of statistics, and highly skilled blackjack players know that to win big, they must play numerous hands, ride fluctuations and perfect their skills. When playing online blackjack, card counting is quite useless as majority of dealers shuffle the deck after each hand. Though playing multiple hands is advised, this does not provide or increase a statistical edge. It does speed the game but one’s chances of winning are not really affected.
